If it’s an excuse to meet with friends for lunch or grabbing a quick morning coffee to set yourself up for the day, our cafés have plenty to offer. You’ll find Castle Cafe directly opposite the castle (so no need for directions) which boasts some of the most amazing views, or its sister cafe Llew Glas Cafe on the cobbled square right in the centre of the town. Both provide freshly baked cakes and have a great lunchtime offering.

If you’re after a top quality loose leaf tea, look no further than the Cemlyn, which houses a great selection for all tastes. Take a seat towards the front and you’ll see the towns high street, or to the back terrace for views of the castle and Llyn Peninsular. If you feel like a short trip just outside of Harlech, then you could head towards Llandanwg and find Y Maes Café, a delightful beach café.
